In this abstract painting class the student will learn how to paint from subjects such as basic shapes, familiar scenes, as well as imaginary, viewing the world in a bold new way. Bright colors with great compositions will be the main course of study. Allowing the student to use there artistic license which allows total freedom of expression, ultimately arriving at a finished product that will be a wonderful interpretation of that student’s personality, and artistic skills.
Mixed Media for Young Adults

Description:
This course is designed to give students a wide variety of art making experiences. Students explore relief and 3-D art. Both traditional and non-traditional approaches are taught by using a variety of media that may include: painting, clay, collage, metal, plaster and ordinary objects that can be transformed into unique works of art.
